Newspapers in print and online

Newspapers available to K-State students, faculty and staff through K-State Libraries

Recent issues online and in print

To search The Manhattan Mercury, use the search box at the very top of any page in order to search material currently active on the site. This includes news content, community information, classified advertisements and business listings. The site allows free viewing of up to 10 articles per month.

When using Search It, type Manhattan Mercury and select K-State Libraries Only.  This only shows our collection of earlier Manhattan newspapers up to and including the current Manhattan Mercury newspaper. Only the latest 3 months are kept in print, in Hale Library's non-circulating newspapers on first floor, just to the west of the central stairs.

Searching back issues

Search the Mercury website's Archives back to 1997, but once you locate the title of an article that you need, you are required to register for a fee-based service that offers the full-text.
