Creating an Account

All K-State students, staff, faculty, and alumni may use RefWorks for free. This includes unlimited storage, sharing inside and outside the institution, Cite for Word and more.

To create a RefWorks account:

Go to refworks.proquest.com and click the “create account” link.
Fill in your information using your K-State email address (you can’t sign up with @yahoo.com, @gmail.com, etc.).
Check your K-State email to activate your account.
