For your species accounts project, you are required to provide a list of the sources you consulted. At a minimum your sources should include:
- Relevant primary literature (scholarly articles) available for your taxa
Kansas State University Herbarium database
A digitized, browsable collection of herbarium specimens
USDA PLANTS database
Provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories.
Kansas Wildflowers and Grasses
Information about 904 species of forbs, grasses, sedges, rushes, trees, and other woody plants. It is also a book (see below) but there are more species available on the website. It also has an excellent list of nomenclature authorities at http://www.kswildflower.org/authorities.php
