New Books at K-State Salina


K-State First Book for 2024 is Deaf Utopia by Nyle DiMarco

DiMarco was born deaf, attended Gallaudet (as a math major), traveled the world, won "America's Top Model" and "Dancing with the Star," has acted in and produced television shows and movies, and is a fierce advocate for the Deaf community. He was an executive director for the Netflix series "Deaf U" and for an Oscar-nominated documentary "Audible."

10 copies are available on reserve at the library front desk.

DiMarco will be giving a live talk at McCain Auditorium (and streamed to our campus) on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 7:00 p.m.  Watch Party location TBA
