These reviews summarize current understanding on a topic and discuss avenues for future inquiry. Each cites dozens of empirical research articles. Consequently, a relevant Annual Review article can be a tremendous springboard into the research literature.
An excellent source for information about how to conduct studies and how to analyze data. It includes full-text for the entire series of "little green books," which provide concise, practical information about quantitative statistical analysis techniques.
