Library Research Guide
We all love to use Google to find information fast. But it's easy to get lost in the huge amount of information on the web. It can also be difficult to find full text versions of books and articles while researching your topic.
One of our favorite library resources is our easy Google Scholar proxy. By clicking on Google Scholar through the Libraries' databases, you are essentially searching Google while linked with our databases. The proxy will alert you if we have a full-text copy of the article available.
Google Scholar is a useful tool for searching through a very broad scope of articles; however, be aware that they aren’t actually all “scholarly.” Look for the text “Get It @ KSU” instead of the usual “Get It” button to search for the full text of articles that don’t have an included PDF. It is sometimes found under the “more” link below the record.
