The Boston Globe-Horn Book Award
First awarded in 1967, the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award honors young adult and children's literature published in the United States (can be written or illustrated by citizens of any country). Winners are honored in three categories: Picture Book, Fiction and Poetry, and Nonfiction. Occassionally, a book will receive a special citation for its high quality and overall creative excellence.
