This guide promotes the use of permanent links to easily access and share K-State Libraries' resources. It has general information regarding permalinks, as well as instructions to locate permanent links in the K-REx, Search It, and select databases. What is a Permalink?
- A permalink is a web address that will consistently point to a specific information source such as an ebook, an article, a record in the catalog, a video, or a database.
- A permalink may also be referred to as a:
- Bookmark URL
- Document Link/URL
- Link
- Persistent Link/URL
- Record URL
- Stable Link/URL
