Linking to Online Resources Using Permalinks

Permalinks for Electronic Resources
When you find an electronic resource in Search It that you would like to link, such as an ebook, a digital journal or article, check underneath the "View It" tab underneath the item's title.
Above the "View It" window, you will see the "Send To" menu.
Click on "Permalink," which is the which is the first option in the "Send To" menu.
A new window with the item's permalink will open above the "View It" window.
Permalinks for Physical Resources
When you find a physical resource in Search It that you would like to link, such as a reserves textbook, DVD, book, etc., check underneath the "Find it at the Library" tab underneath the item's title.
Above the "Find it at the Library" window, see on the "Send To" menu.
Click on "Permalink," which is the first option under "Send To" menu.
A new window with the item's permalink will open above the "Find it at the Library" window.
