Much of the information published by the government is available electronically, directly from individual agencies and departments.

U.S. Department of Agriculture
The USDA provides information on food, agriculture, natural resources, rural development, nutrition, and related issues. Agencies of the USDA include the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Economic Research Service (ERS), Farm Service Agency (FSA), Forest Service (FS), National Agricultural Statistics Services (NASS), and Rural Development (RD).
U.S. Department of Health & Human Services
The HHS programs and services encompass Emergency Preparedness & Response and Public Health & Safety, website includes information on programs, services, laws and regulations.
U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development
HUD includes the Office of Community Planning and Development as well as the Office of Housing which oversees the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
U.S. Department of Transportation
The DOT includes the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Maritime Administration (MARAD) and additional administrations and bureaus. Areas of focus include automobiles, aviation, bicycles, bridges, pedestrians, public transit, roadways, trucking, and waterways. Each administration and bureau maintains its own website including policies, data, statistics, and resources for individuals, partners and government agencies.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
The EPA's website includes research, educational resources, and information on policies, laws, and regulations relating to a substantial list of individual environmental topics. Their section on Laws & Regulations includes information about compliance, enforcement, policy and regulatory information by sector.
