Country reports focus on factors that shape the business environment in a particular country. Not all reports cover the same issues, but topics might include corruption, infrastructure, regulations, workforce, trade, and basic economic data.

- Word Bank Group Enterprise SurveysSurveys provide "investment climate indicators for a country with benchmarks against their respective regional and income groups."
- Coface Country Risk ReportsCoface provides country assessments, based on macroeconomic, financial and political data.
- Transparency International Country RatingsTransparency International monitors corruption on the national level and publishes the Corruption Perceptions Index.
- CIA World Factbook: Country ProfilesThe CIA World Factbook country profiles are a great source of background information on countries. Profiles cover people and society, government, economy, energy, communications, transportation, military and security, terrorism, and transnational issues.
