Consumer Information
Consumer information combines demographic information such as age and income with information about shoppers' attitudes and behaviors. Unlike demographic information, which is available for free on government websited, consumer information is usually expensive to purchase. K-State Libraries subscribes to a couple of databases that have information about fashion consumers.

Mintel Reports is a market research database that publishes 200+ business to consumer reports each year for US consumer markets. Each report focuses on consumer attitudes and behaviors, including survey data to understand demographic and psychographic segmentation. Also included are market size, brand share, social media analysis, and category trends. - Statista

Demographics
Demographic information, such as age and income, is available at Census.gov. Though industry and consumer information is often available at the national level, the Census provides demographic information at the city, county, and state levels.
- Explore Census DataData.census.gov is the primary way to access new Census Bureau data. It replaces American FactFinder as the source for the American Community Survey, the Census, and the Economic Census. Search for a city, county, or state to find demographic data (age, income, education level, etc.) for that geographic location.
Consumer Spending
- Census Business BuilderThis easy to use tool generates reports with select demographic and economic data for specific geographic locations. Reports include information on consumer spending in select categories tracked by the government.
