Set Google Scholar to Access K-State Databases

Google Scholar is a search engine that crawls the web for scholarly publications. It retrieves articles, conference proceedings, and dissertations from free sources such as institutional repositories. It also searches across publisher websites that are behind paywalls.

You can set Google Scholar to link to articles that are available through K-State Libraries subscriptions. Then you'll see the Get it @ KSU link next to search results that are available to you for free through the library.

Set Google Scholar to Access Articles in K-State Databases

  1. Expand the menu on the upper left to select Settings.

  2. Under Settings, select Library links.

  3. Add Kansas State University Libraries to identify yourself as a K-State user.

  4. Now the Get it @ KSU link will appear for search results available through K-State Libraries.
