Librarians in Academic Services are happy to help you with teaching students about library research. There are many of you and a few of us. Each semester our schedules fill up quickly. To facilitate getting the date you want, it is best to contact us a couple of weeks ahead of your preferred date.

Instruction Librarians

K-State Libraries offer instruction assistance specific to departments within the university. These contacts provide a link between students, faculty, and departments and act as a reference for research in their specialized area.

If you would like a research guide for your course, contact your subject librarian or email the Learning Experience and Design team at libinst@ksu.edu.

Research guides for many courses and subject areas are automatically offered in Canvas course navigation on the Library Resources tab. The link between Canvas and The Libraries' software showcases the resources and services available for faculty and students. Through collaboration with a librarian, the guides can also be designed and created specifically to meet the research needs for a department, class, or an assignment.
