Make an Appointment - Research Consultations
K-State Libraries offers research assistance for students, faculty and staff members, as well as the community. Request a one-on-one consultation with a librarian to discuss possible resources and search strategies for assignments, papers, theses, and dissertations.
Peer Research Consultations
Library Help student employees are available to assist students with research for class assignments. The Peer Research Consultation (PRC) service is offered in Hale Library. These are some of of the ways that our PRC students can help:
- brainstorm topics
- develop research questions
- identify search terms
- use library research tools
- navigate campus resources and services related to research

The Weigel Library of Architecture, Planning & Design is located in 0081 Regnier Hall. Here is a quick video by K-State Libraries that shows how to find the main entrance to Weigel Library. This branch library includes books, magazines, and other resources focused on the design-based disciplines. Maxine Ganske and our student employees are available to assist you with anything you need.

Hale Library Collaboration Rooms
The first floor of Hale Library is open and a variety of study spaces are available there for individuals and groups. You can use your K-State email account to schedule a meeting in one of our Consultation Rooms by following the instructions provided on this link.
IT Help Desk
The IT Help Desk is located in the Union, in the Cat's Pause Lounge on 2nd floor. Their website is full of information including the option for live online help using their chat service.
iTAC's Media Center
The Media Center is located in Seaton Hall 1. They offer resources for multi-media and graphic design as well as accessibility including Apple iMacs, Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Logic Pro X, AutoCAD, SketchUp and more.
Includes information about help desks, quiet study, group study, printing and computing labs.
