Research help
Librarians and staff are available by email or chat to answer research questions or to provide help with using online resources. For general questions, use our Ask A Librarian service, or email me (laurab@ksu.edu) for help.
Library access and research materials
Hale Library is currently in a phased opening plan. For more information, see Continuation of Libraries Services and Hale Library Hours.
Most printed library materials are still not available following the fire in Hale Library, but you can still use all of our online books and journals. Interlibrary Loan will continue to process requests, however, some requests may be delayed if the libraries that hold those items are closed.
Almost all of our electronic resources are available to you from off campus by using your eID and password to log on. We will also scan and email articles from journals that we own, or will mail you books from our collection or books or articles borrowed from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan. For more information about library resources for distance students, see our Distance Learning page.
