FAQ -- Tutoring at Salina

Get the most out of your tutoring sessions!

1. Come prepared with your notes, textbook, assignment instructions, a beverage, and questions.

2. Take a stab at the assignment or homework before your tutoring session. That way, you'll have good, specific questions to ask of your tutor.

3. Spend some time getting to know your tutor and explaining why you think you are struggling. Diagnosing and pinpointing problem areas is important work during tutoring.

4. Debrief with your tutor and make plans for your next session or next homework step before you leave.

5. Contact Amanda Pope if you have any questions about tutoring at Salina (amandapope@ksu.edu).
