PESTLE Analysis

PESTLE (political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental) is a framework for analyzing a firm's macro environment. PESTLE, sometimes PESTEL or PEST, analysis is used to look at a country and its potential as an investment destination.

Business intelligence firms such as MarketLine publish country reports that include PESTLE analyses. Other firms publish country reports that look at similar factors to a PESTLE analysis without using this framework.

Country Reports (Macro Environment)

Country reports focus on factors that shape the business environment in a particular country. Not all reports cover the same issues, but topics might include corruption, infrastructure, regulations, workforce, trade, and basic economic data.
